これまでDSPを搭載したボードは高価だという印象でしたが、WONDOMではフリーランスに優しい価格設定で提供してくれていました。今回購入したADAU1701ボード2つと書き込み機やオプションのコネクターなどを併せても1万円以下で揃えられました。

標準では半固定可変抵抗がついていますが、WONDOMのサイトから注文する場合は備考欄に“APM2 POT1-4 removed & replace with JST PH Connector”などと記載すればPHコネクタに変えてくれます(ただし、10個以上注文の場合とのこと)。可変抵抗は自分で選定した物を使いたかったのでPHコネクターに変えて納品してもらいました。

ソフトウェア上でデザインが完了したら、USB経由で書き込みます。こちらも別売りのWONDOMの書き込み機を使用しました。

Self -made DJ mixer

We have created an extension board to make it easier to assemble as a DJ mixer.

Unfortunately, ADAU1701 has only one input, so it is necessary to combine two or more of them to be established as a DJ mixer.However, the output can output two independently adjusted audio, so the monitor output can be easily set with software.

The photo shows that it is assembling with a volume etc.It seems that it is necessary to devise assembly and other things when mass -producing because it has been quite messed up such as wiring.

なんとか配線を整理してAliExpressで安価に売っていたオーディオインジケーターなどを追加して完成です。文字の印字などはDMM.make AKIBAのUVプリンターを使用しました。

I tried to move with a mobile battery

The cassette tape DJ device works on a 15V power supply.Until now, a 15V AC adapter has been used, but in the business destination, even a 100V household cannot be secured.So, I tried to drive with a mobile battery.

市販のモバイルバッテリーはUSB電源5Vの出力ですが、これをアナログ・デバイセズのLTC3111を搭載した秋月電子の電源キットで15Vに昇圧する回路を追加してカセットテープDJ装置の電源にします。

This power kit can play an output current 1.5A.The current consumption of a cassette tape DJ device and a portable DJ mixer is about 1A or less, so it seems that it can work with this.
