In response to the "2050 Carbon Neutral Declaration" by the Japanese government last year, domestic companies are also actively decarbonizing. With the provision of the Sustainability API as a foothold, we plan to develop services that strongly support the efforts of local governments, companies, and individuals to reduce CO2 emissions.

In international trade, there is a strong demand for visualization of Scope 1-3 supply chain emissions. Therefore, it is necessary to visualize CO2 emissions not only for Scope 1 and Scope 2 (inside the company), but also for Scope 3 (outside the company such as raw material procurement and disposal processes). The Sustainability API visualizes companies' supply chain emissions and contributes to reducing work man-hours.

We are planning to support companies to respond to carbon pricing such as border carbon taxes that are expected to be introduced between countries in the future. Sustainability API can be used as a highly authentic data base for carbon pricing.

In order to accelerate decarbonization in the future, it is essential to change behavior not only at the national and local government levels, but also at the corporate and individual levels. We are planning to provide an application that promotes CO2 reduction behavior as a tool for making CO2 reduction behavior a habit in daily life and work. We provide functions to promote CO2 reduction actions like a game, such as the degree of achievement of weekly reduction targets, ranking of CO2 reduction amount, and real-time local production for local consumption rate.

Sustainability API can also be applied to visualize environmental value such as geothermal power generation, CO2 separation and recovery equipment, agricultural use, exhaust heat and exhaust gas use, renewable energy surplus power use, and transportation efficiency. Visualize the environmental value that could not be visualized until now, and strongly support the transition to decarbonization in various fields. Tapyrus, which has been adopted as the foundation of this API, is a hybrid blockchain that solves various issues for the social implementation of blockchain and guarantees openness, transparency, governance, and finality at the same time. By taking advantage of the features of Tapyrus, we can expect transparent evaluation for corporate transition finance, prevention of Galapagos due to the proliferation of Japan's own standards, and construction of an appropriate governance system in which local governments and companies cooperate.
