The Birth of Space-Time Technologies, Inc.
Originally, I made games at a company called Square Enix, which is famous for Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. What is AI automatic transcription “Log Meets”?
As a test from the fall of 2020, we have had customers touch various things, and from February 2021, we will officially start the service with a charge.
Basically, log meets is divided into a recording device (recorder) and an editing device (editor). There are two types of recording devices: mobile devices and Windows apps.
The audio is recorded and transcribed through it, and it all goes up to the server. Data goes into the AWS server, and you can browse, search, edit, and share it there. The editor can be operated with the web browser Google Chrome/Edge/Firefox.
The editor can be freely edited, file attachments can be added, bookmarks can be added, and searches can be performed.
For example, let's say you're talking about Mike. If you search for "mic", you'll find all the places where "mic" is said. This makes it easier to look back later and even play or rewind the audio from that moment. From a Windows app, you can attach screenshots and images, save them easily, and leave small notes. If you have a whiteboard, photos, or some kind of file, you can use it as file sharing. For example, when a slide is being shared with something like Zoom, you can take a screenshot and share it.
By using the user dictionary registration, it is easier to respond to things like difficult place names and names that are difficult to read, and manual (human power) transcription services can be ordered immediately from here. This is a convenient function.

Logmeets Development Story
Why did you start making Logmeets? In other words, I was making a communication tool using avatars called "vmeets" in this predecessor service. When I showed it to various people, the avatar got a good reputation, and another thing that stuck with me was the transcription. For that reason, I realized that the transcription part was at a level where it could be practically used and that the need was extremely high, so I decided to separate this part and launch the service first.
Also, I think that making hardware is a bold thing to do, but it all started when I found a good company in Shenzhen, China. Also, English communication via WeChat was quite difficult. The culture is a bit different, so when can we do it? The communication of progress management like this was difficult in various ways.
And you're mixing the mic. Of course, the development company had a bit of a hard time with this mix, but I was worried about whether or not this part would be completed properly.
At first, I was making a mobile terminal first. Anticipating that the number of web conferences will increase when the coronavirus hits, I decided to focus on creating a Windows version as well. After all, I thought that there would be value in having both, so I changed the balance and schedule of the service.
The parts we are particular about are "easy to use" and "safe"
One of the major features is that the recorder can be attached and detached very easily. You can easily move between account IDs. By entering a one-time password, you can easily connect like this. It is very easy to handle. Then, the recorded voice is uploaded to the server, but the voice data on the recorder is deleted one after another. Therefore, even if the recorder is dropped or lost, information will not be leaked and it is very safe.
In order to improve usability, to improve UX, to ensure safety and usability, to ensure security, and to increase flexibility, our engineers are working hard. At first glance, it's a sober service with a plain usage, but we've made a lot of work on the interface and the back end behind it.
Future service development
Currently, it is being used by corporations and companies first, but when credit card support is completed in the near future, it will be used by creators and writers. It will be available to the general public, such as Mr. and youtuber. Also, as a function, we will support overseas languages. We will implement multi-language support so that we can transcribe many languages and translate them into Japanese or convert them from Japanese to other languages in real time. I think it will be very useful not only for video conferencing, but also for watching overseas events and conferences.
