A huge speaker sounds even though it is small! Surprised by MYTEK next-generation audio "Brooklyn Bridge / AMP"

How good is Brooklyn Bridge as a DAC?

Paul McCartney "Write me a letter." The drum brush at the beginning is very vivid. The magnificence of the bass, the sharpness of the outline, and the sense of scale are accurate. Paul's vocals are warm, the gradation of the voice is delicate, and the ending of "LETTER ♪" is reproduced very carefully as it disappears with emotion. In the sound field, the center vocal occupies a large volume, and the sound image is also dense. Diana Krall's piano in the interlude is clear and fully expresses swingy nuances. In my home environment, this DAC perfectly expressed the audio information and emotional emotionality of this sound source.

A small but huge speaker sounds! MYTEK Surprised by next-generation audio

Shunsuke Sato/Il Pomo d'Oro's J.S. Bach: Violin Concerto No. 2 in E major. It is a recent masterpiece of Bach's same piece by period playing. The strength, dynamism, and agility of the music are so vivid that they scream with joy that this is the period. This DAC perfectly reproduces the information to the details, the rigor of Bach's music, and the strength of the progress that makes music comfortable. Metallic unique to gut strings, sharp shine is impressive.

Giuseppe Sinopoli/Deutsche Oper Berlin Prelude to the opera "Macbeth". This song features a wide D-range feeling that alternates between gentle cantabile parts and tutti's loud sounds. The subtle smoothness of the synchronous tones of the bassoon and clarinet at the beginning, and the majesty and splendor of the tutti in contrast... I am impressed by the vastness of the expressive power of the musical dynamic range of this DAC. The sorrowful expression of the subsequent minor string melody is also good.

So what about MQA-CD? Karl Böhm's masterpiece, Mozart who shook the Berliner Philharmoniker: The first movement of Symphony No. 40 in G minor (recorded in December 1961 as a world heritage site). I never thought that the overtones generated by the double unison of the opening faint violin would spread so brilliantly in the sound field. It's a musical masterpiece unique to MQA, and I'm impressed by the high-tech combination technique with this DAC that decodes it correctly. MYTEK has been working hard since the early days of MQA, and the essence is fully demonstrated in this performance.

The logo is displayed when MQA is played.

Another feature of MQA is the presence reproduction, which makes you feel as if you are watching the orchestra right in front of you. This DAC accurately reproduces the specialness of the atmosphere reproduction that is achieved through the refinement of the time axis of the sound. It is a sound that does not betray the reputation of "MQA is MYTEK".

To summarize the checks so far. We were able to confirm the performance of the Brooklyn DAC, which has a reputation for high sound quality, just as it is. Playing back on our system, I was able to deeply recognize that the audio symbolic and the musical symbolic are balanced at a high level.
